The Langtang Valley trek is the best option if you are looking for a short and easy tea house trek. Situated north of Kathmandu, it takes about 5 to 6 hours by bus and jeep. This awe-inspiring trek follows the narrow Langtang Valley heading up towards the Langtang mountain range and the Tibetan border. Nestled within the Langtang National Park, you can experience multiple high peaks including Langtang Lirung (7,246m) as well as indigenous Tamang villages and culture, and the ancient Kyanjin Gompa monastery. The trek will take you through beautiful forests filled with oak, maple, rhododendron, chir pine, Hemlock and fir trees.
